Stockton Man Offers Data On Accused Woman

TULSA, Okla., April 3.—(AP)—As officers continued today to unravel the life story of Mrs. Fay Smith, a religious practitioner charged with swindling two women officer workers out of their incomes for several years, a Stockton, Calif., man wired an offer to provide information about the activities of Mrs. Smith there.

The man, George H. Perkins, advised County Attorney Dixie Gilmer that Mrs. Smith had "treated" his mother from 1924 to 1932 and had extracted large sums of money during that period from his father, W.G. Perkins.

He said his mother died in 1932. He volunteered to give further information.

Mrs. Smith who faces two criminal charges and a $10,000 damage suit, remained in the County Jail today under $6,000 bond.

Miss Willetta Horner,31, and Miss Virginia Evans, 30, charge that Mrs. Smith defrauded them while keeping them under a hypnotic spell.
