About Rothline Entertainment

Rothline.com was created on May 30, 2001, by me, Lawrence Roth.

My journey into web development began in 2000 when I joined a startup e-commerce company. I quickly fell in love with the work and immersed myself in learning everything I could about building websites.

I took college courses—eventually even teaching some—and set my sights on a long-term career in web development. That path continued until the dot-com bust reshaped the industry.

Over time, I also developed a passion for YouTube, folklore, and urban legends. This led me to create videos exploring topics such as Bigfoot encounters and Tulsa’s infamous Hex House. I share these stories on both my website and my YouTube channel at youtube.com/@Rothline.

I’ve spent more than three years researching the Hex House, uncovering a deep and layered story behind the legend. As I began outlining and writing what I discovered, I found myself drawn to storytelling—and that journey sparked a new creative direction for me.

It led me to join the Tulsa Night Writers group and to enroll in writing classes at OSU–Tulsa.

These experiences have given my website a dual purpose: to explore folklore and urban legends, and to share what I’ve learned on my journey to becoming a storyteller.

Please take some time to browse the site and explore my stories inspired by folklore and urban legends, or visit my blog where I share my ongoing journey of improving my writing skills.

Best Regards,
Lawrence Roth
