Rogers County Bigfoot

On Thursday the 21st of November 2002 a dental assistant in Catoosa of Rogers County Oklahoma saw a Sasquatch. It was in the morning around 7:30 AM when the assistant entered the dental office. The assistant looked out the window and to her surprise a dark brown fur covered creature that looked like a gorilla walked by an abandoned house. She only saw the backside of the creature but reported that it had a thick neck with broad shoulders, a wide head, and was at least seven feet tall. She did report the encounter to the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization, which investigated the sighting. That encounter as far as I know is the only reported sighting of a Bigfoot in Rogers County, Oklahoma. However, that does not stop people from hunting for the elusive beast. On Saturday the 2nd of November 2013 three people were arrested by the Rogers County Sherrif's department for an accidental shooting while hunting Bigfoot. A father, son-in-law, and a friend where in a wooded area of Catoosa about 2 miles west of the Bigfoot sighting that occurred in 2002. The son-in-law heard a barking noise and fired his gun, which struck his friend in the back. The friend was hospitalized but survived. If you are interested in learning more about Bigfoot sightings there is a new website called The Bigfoot Mapping Project at BigfootMap.com.
