Bigfoot Encounter Near Crossett Arkansas

On the 27th of May 1992 around one in the morning a husband and wife were driving back home to Crossett, Arkansas. They were out late on Highway 133 when they slowed down to cross a railroad track on a tight curve. They crossed the track and curve slowly. After getting past the track they accelerated their truck. A large bipedal creature bolted from the forest and almost collided with the truck. The creature halted and avoided impact. The couple saw the creature stare back at them. It was taller than six foot and it was covered in brownish hair. The wife said that she, “saw right into its eyes and it was not a bear.” After they passed by the creature, it ran across the road into the woods. John Morley, a Biologist and Bigfoot Researcher, interviewed the wife. She reported that the creature bolted from the woods like it was being chased or was chasing something. Morley asked if she or her husband saw a deer or other animal at the time. She said no. She emphasized that the creature ran very fast and to her surprise was also able to quickly stop. She strongly believed the creature was going to collide with their truck. She claimed that she saw the creature’s face and eyes from the passenger side window. She stated the eyes were, “bright and piercing.” She believed that the entire incident lasted for a few seconds. The creature was covered in long dark hair that she believed to be dark brown. Other than the streetlights near the tracks the road was in a dark wooded area. The wooded area was owned by a company that kept it blocked off from the public. The husband and wife were both convinced that they had seen a Bigfoot.
