Bigfoot Researcher Daryl Colyer
In May of 2004 Daryl Colyer encountered a Bigfoot.
The reddish-brown Bigfoot was about six foot tall and disappeared into the woods just as quickly as it had appeared.
This was a life changing experience for Daryl who was a recent member of the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization, and who had already been on several Bigfoot expeditions, but had never actually seen a Bigfoot.
Daryl Colyer became a dedicated Bigfoot Researcher who has studied witness encounters, reviewed Bigfoot evidence, and learned to track and collect evidence himself.
Daryl has been interested in Bigfoot stories since childhood which may have been sparked by hearing stories about a creature his father called the Burton Bottom Creek Monster that roamed the woods in East Texas.
Daryl Colyer is a resident of Lorena, Texas and does most of his research in the dense woods of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas.
He is a member of the Texas Bigfoot Research Center, which is now called the North American Wood Ape Conservancy.
Daryl has been a guest on shows like Weird Travels and Monster Quest and was recently featured in the documentary mini-series "On the Trail of Bigfoot."
On the Trail of Bigfoot was released in 2019 and it is a 6 episode mini-series created and directed by Seth Breedlove. The series tracks the history of the Bigfoot phenomenon and the search to find the elusive creature.
He has worked with other Bigfoot Researchers like Craig Woolheater and has been a presenter at multiple Bigfoot conferences.
In the almost two decades of Bigfoot Research Daryl Colyer has became a prominent member of the Bigfoot researchers community and a well recognized authority on the subject by many Bigfoot Enthusiasts.
